East Chicago’s Jim Skafish who first shook things up with such acerbic punk-era anthems as “Sign of the Cross” and “Joan Fan Club” is the featured guest on the season premiere of WTTW / Channel 11’s “Wild Chicago” program, airing at 10:30 p.m. tonight.  The show will be repeated at midnight on Sunday.

The Skafish segment will feature interviews with host Ben Hollis and live performance footage shot this summer at Chicago’s Avalon nightclub.  Among the musical pieces to be aired are the new pop song, “Where Is James Bond;” an eclectic original theatrical number, “Honey I’ve Got a Headache;” and a tender rendering of Mozart’s piano piece, “Turkish Rondo.”

Included is a brief appearance by Tinnie “Tiny” Zalinski, a 32-year-old Hammond fan who has turned his home into a virtual Skafish shrine.  Zalinski will show off some of his most prized Skafish memorabilia.
